A woman known as "Injection Auntie," who faces allegations of performing illegal medical procedures on celebrities including broadcaster Park Na-rae, has revealed she was hospitalized after suffering a head injury.
On Monday, the woman, identified only as A, posted a video on her personal social media account, writing that she "thought it would be fine and that I could hold on, but ultimately my body sent a signal first."
The circumstances of the injury were not disclosed, but in the video A was shown lying in a hospital bed with a large bandage on her head.
"When I came to my senses, my head had a gash of 8 to 10 centimeters and the floor was soaked in blood," she said, describing the incident.
She added, "I suppose it is now time to let go of pretending to be fine," and wrote, "I want to live a life that protects me, not one that just endures. #Brace yourself #Can't see what's in front of me #Can't see out of my right eye."
A faces allegations of performing illegal medical procedures on Park and other celebrities. Last year, police investigated her on charges including violations of the Medical Service Act, the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act, the Special Measures Act on the Control of Health Crimes, and the Narcotics Control Act.
