KT&G launched its new duty-free-exclusive product, Esse It's Kiik Yellow, on Monday. [KT&G]

KT&G said Monday it is launching Esse It's Kiik Yellow, a new duty-free-exclusive ultra-slim cigarette, at six major domestic airports and downtown duty-free shops.

The new product is a 100-millimeter ultra-slim cigarette featuring odor-reduction technology. Its release expands the Esse It's lineup to four varieties, joining Esse It's Deep Brown, Esse It's Some Pink and Esse It's Some Blue.

The packaging centers on a yellow color scheme with a stylized design incorporating the word "It's" as a graphic element. Tar and nicotine content are 1.0 milligrams and 0.10 milligrams, respectively, and the price is $30 per carton.

"We launched this duty-free-exclusive product to offer consumers visiting duty-free shops a more distinctive choice," said Lee Seong-eun, head of KT&G's duty-free brand team.
