CJ CheilJedang announced Monday that it operated a Bibigo booth at the 2026 Hansik Festa, an event held to mark Hansik Day.

The Hansik Festa was held for the first time this year to celebrate Hansik Day (Oct. 24), a nationally designated commemorative day. Co-organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korean Food Promotion Institute, the festival ran from Friday to Sunday at the National Museum of Korea.

Under the concept "Iconic Korean Flavor, bibigo," the Bibigo booth showcased key products including mandu, kimchi, Hetbahn cooked rice, ramyun, K-sauces and frozen kimbap. The booth also featured a range of interactive programs — participants in a ddakji (traditional Korean paper-flipping game) event received samples of new Bibigo products, Kim Nacho and Kim Popcorn. The booth drew strong interest from both domestic and foreign visitors.

CJ CheilJedang was the only participating company invited to speak at the hansik conference held alongside the festival. Kim Suk-jin, head of food marketing at CJ CheilJedang, shared the story of Bibigo's growth into a leading global K-food brand, its brand strategy and its future direction. She also joined a discussion panel on sustainable growth for K-food.

"We will continue to lead efforts to raise the global profile of hansik through differentiated K-food products and content," a CJ CheilJedang official said.
