Gangbuk-gu in Seoul will host the second Gangbuk-gu Job Fair of 2026 at Sangsan Children's Park on Wednesday.

The fair will run from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and will feature five organizations: Seoul Dobong Post Office, the Army Personnel Command, Hunid Co., Kkumkkuneun Isang Co. and the Gangbuk Nanum Dolbom Center social cooperative.

This year, the district has moved away from large-scale events, instead holding smaller fairs in high-traffic residential areas to make it easier for job seekers to participate. The venue size and format have been redesigned to improve accessibility while allowing for more substantive recruitment consultations and on-site interviews between companies and applicants.

Participating companies will conduct on-site interviews and recruitment consultations, and job seekers can review each company's hiring fields and working conditions before signing up for interviews or consultations with firms that interest them.

An information booth will offer job listings tailored to visitors' age and circumstances, along with guidance on employment-related agencies and support programs within Gangbuk-gu.

The district held its first job fair of the year on Sept. 16 inside Suyu Station.

"We held a small-scale job fair close to where people live so that job seekers can participate more conveniently," Gangbuk-gu District Mayor Jeong Chang-su said. "With companies from a wide range of fields taking part, I hope this becomes an opportunity for both employers and job seekers to find the right match on the spot."
