Apartment subscriptions and winner announcements set for November
Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) has announced a public housing pre-sale of 300 units at the S-1 block of the Siheung Geomo public housing district in Gyeonggi Province.
According to LH on Friday, the S-1 block marks the first general public housing pre-sale complex within the district. Rising up to 20 stories across five buildings, the development comprises 300 units in three configurations: 34 units of the 59-square-meter Type A, 52 units of the 59-square-meter Type B, and 214 units of the 84-square-meter Type A. Move-in is scheduled for June 2029.
With a price ceiling on new apartments applied, the average pre-sale price is set at about 410 million won ($310,000) for the 59-square-meter type and about 570 million won for the 84-square-meter type. Both the resale restriction and residency obligation periods are three years.
The complex is well-positioned for residents who work nearby, sitting within a 10-minute drive of Baegot New Town, the planned Ansan Science Valley and the Banwol-Sihwa national industrial complex. Easy access to the Yeongdong Expressway and Pyeongtaek-Siheung Expressway via the Seo-Ansan IC and Gunja Junction also puts Seoul's southwestern districts, Incheon and Suwon within quick reach.
Public transit options are also strong. Singiloncheon Station on subway Line 4 and the Suin-Bundang Line is a five-minute drive away. Once the Sinansan Line and the Wolgot-Pangyo Line (an extension of the Gyeonggang Line) open, connectivity to major business hubs such as Yeouido and Pangyo via Siheung City Hall Station on the West Coast Line is expected to improve further.
Lifestyle amenities are close at hand, with elementary and middle school sites within walking distance, along with Shinsegae Premium Outlets, E-mart Traders Ansan, Sandeul Park and the Jegicheon waterfront park. Inside the complex, residents will have access to a daycare center, a children's playground and other childcare facilities, as well as community spaces including a fitness center, a small library and a residents' cafe.
The subscription schedule begins with registration for pre-subscription winners, followed by a special supply round on Nov. 16 and a general supply round on Nov. 17 for remaining units. Winners will be announced Nov. 26, with contracts to be signed in February 2027.
Further details are available on the LH Cheongak Plus website and the pre-sale information website.
Meanwhile, LH plans to strengthen cooperation with the construction industry to accelerate public housing supply, with an integrated tender for public housing construction projects totaling 4,744 units planned for this year.
