Ulsan's Dong-gu District Office announced Friday that Ji Gyeong-min and Ji Seong-min, executive vice presidents at Daehyun Industries, donated 10 million won ($7,550) to the district's hometown love fund. Jang Uk-hui, who runs a Ukhui Ssaem Kkoma Kimbap franchise in Ulsan and is a family member of the two executives, also contributed 5 million won.

Daehyun Industries is a Gyeongju-based manufacturer of ship engine components, founded in 1998 by Chairman Ji Jong-chan in Oedongeup. The company has grown on the strength of its technology and quality, pursuing community-oriented management through social contribution activities.

Dong-gu has been using its hometown love fund since 2024 to support projects aimed at helping young residents build stable, independent lives, including a shared housing project for young workers.
