First Lotte Castle brand in Hwaseong's Hyangnam, with 1,542 units total
Community facilities, central plaza and 2.4-km circular walking trail planned
Lotte Engineering & Construction announced Friday it has launched pre-sales for Hwaseong Hyangnam Lotte Castle Signature, a large-scale apartment complex to be built in Sangshin-ri, Hyangnam-eup, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province.
The complex will be the first Lotte Castle-branded apartment development in Hyangnam-eup. It will rise up to 29 above-ground floors across 17 buildings, with three below-ground levels, offering a total of 1,542 units ranging from 84 to 120 square meters in exclusive use area.
The unit breakdown is 1,331 units at 84 square meters, 56 at 102 square meters, 78 at 112 square meters and 77 at 120 square meters. About 86 percent of all units are the 84-square-meter type, which is the most popular among end-user buyers, while mid- to large-sized floor plans are also available to give buyers a wider range of options.
The design prioritizes openness and comfort. A central plaza serves as the focal point, surrounded by a park, a 2.4-kilometer circular walking trail and a glamping garden. Every unit comes with a dedicated storage room, and space efficiency is further enhanced through features such as walk-in closets, pantries, alpha rooms (in select unit types) and three-sided balcony extensions.
A large community facility spanning about 7,660 square meters and resident-exclusive services are also highlights of the complex. Amenities include a four-lane indoor swimming pool, a screen golf facility, a two-story book cafe and a standalone guesthouse.
Residents will also have access to affiliated discounts on car-sharing, home care, health checkups, moving and cleaning services, and movie tickets through Elyes, Lotte Engineering & Construction's residential services platform. A school shuttle bus will operate for children's safety and convenience, and the complex will offer specialized education services including two years of complimentary YBM language programs.
The complex also benefits from strong everyday infrastructure and proximity to major employment centers. Residents can use the shopping, medical and administrative facilities already established in the Hyangnam 1 and 2 districts — including Lotte Cinema, Hwaseong Central General Hospital and the Manse-gu district office. The development is also close to the Hyangnam Pharmaceutical Complex, the Balan Industrial Complex and the planned H Techno Valley, which is set to house a Samsung Electronics advanced logistics hub, generating strong demand for nearby residential options.
The Hyangnam Station on the West Coast Line is already in service, and a planned extension of the Sinansanline to Hyangnam is under way, which is expected to improve access to central Seoul, including Yeouido. A planned KTX direct-connection project linking the West Coast Line and the Gyeongbu High-Speed Line is also in progress, which would further strengthen regional rail connectivity.
"Hwaseong Hyangnam Lotte Castle Signature is a premium large-scale complex featuring space-efficient floor plans and high-end community amenities including an indoor swimming pool and a central park," a Lotte Engineering & Construction official said. "It will establish itself as a new residential landmark representing Hyangnam."
The subscription schedule begins with special supply on Nov. 2, followed by first-priority subscriptions on Nov. 3 and second-priority on Nov. 4. Winners will be announced on Nov. 10.
Meanwhile, Lotte Engineering & Construction recently received a bronze award at the 2026 Good Design Award for the exterior design of Le West, a mixed-use MICE complex in the Magok area of Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
