Genesis BBQ Group said it visited the Anseong Veterans Police Association hall in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province, on Wednesday and carried out its "Visiting Chicken Relay" program for about 30 retired police officers.
BBQ, together with the Anseong Ayang branch family, delivered chicken sets consisting of Golden Olive Chicken, cheese balls and Lemon Boy. The Anseong Veterans Police Association continues to support community safety and order after retirement, focusing on crime prevention activities such as patrols and volunteer work.
The "Visiting Chicken Relay" is a corporate social responsibility initiative in which BBQ visits people in need or those deserving of appreciation and delivers chicken based on submitted stories. Separately, BBQ also runs a "Chicken University Good Donation" program, through which chicken prepared by students during the Chicken University curriculum is donated to local communities.
"We wanted to express our gratitude to those who dedicated themselves to public safety and continue to serve their communities even after retirement," a BBQ official said. "We will keep reaching out to neighbors across our communities who need our support and encouragement."
