V-Class marks Mercedes-Benz van heritage's Korean debut
237-horsepower output with 4MATIC all-wheel drive
Airmatic suspension — the only MPV in Korea to offer it
Single trim: V 300 d 4MATIC Exclusive
Priced at 124 million won; deliveries begin in November
Mercedes-Benz Korea announced Wednesday that it has opened pre-orders for the V-Class, a premium multipurpose vehicle (MPV) making its domestic debut.
This year marks the 130th anniversary of Mercedes-Benz introducing the world's first delivery van, and the V-Class represents the brand's long-standing van heritage.
Since its debut in 1996, the V-Class has spent nearly 30 years combining generous space and versatility with the refinement and comfort that define the Mercedes-Benz brand. Across successive generations it has served a wide range of mobility needs — from family and leisure use to business and VIP shuttle transport — and has established itself as the benchmark premium MPV in Europe and global markets.
The Korean-market V-Class offers broad utility for business travel, golf and other leisure activities, as well as family outings and long-distance travel, drawing on its spacious interior, comfortable ride and extensive convenience features. It will be offered in a single trim — the V 300 d 4MATIC Exclusive — priced at 124 million won ($93,400). Customer deliveries begin in November.
Mercedes-Benz Korea is offering pre-order customers unlimited use of the Mercedes-Benz Airport Service along with a one-year extension of the standard warranty period.
The V-Class is powered by an OM654 engine producing 237 horsepower, paired with a 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system. The OM654 delivers strong torque from low engine speeds, while the 4MATIC system provides stable traction across varying road conditions and driving situations, supporting confident and composed driving from city streets to long-distance journeys.
Particularly notable is the Airmatic suspension — the only such system fitted to any MPV currently on sale in Korea — which effectively controls body movement in response to road conditions and driving situations, delivering a comfortable and refined ride even on extended trips.
The V-Class interior is designed with the comfort of all occupants in mind, not just the driver. Both the first and second rows feature heated and ventilated seats, ensuring a pleasant environment regardless of the season.
The second row is fitted with luxury seats that provide comfortable support during long journeys, enhancing the experience for both business travel and family road trips. An optional panoramic sliding roof further opens up the cabin.
In addition, the V-Class comes equipped with the MBUX infotainment system with a 12.3-inch display screen, a parking package including a 360-degree camera, a digital rearview mirror, a Burmester surround sound system, comfort closing, a seatback table and lighting, and a rear electric belt tensioner.
The V-Class is also the only model among its domestic competitors to feature an openable tailgate window, adding everyday loading convenience.
Meanwhile, Mercedes-Benz Korea held a launch event Monday at Mercedes-Benz Studio Seoul in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, for its next-generation electric vehicles — the all-new electric CLA and the all-new electric GLC. The automaker plans to accelerate its electrification push by leading with an entry-level model aimed at first-time premium electric vehicle buyers and a flagship in the domestic imported midsize SUV segment.
