Broadcaster Hong Jin-kyung is taking a brief hiatus from her MC role on the KBS2 quiz show "Oktapbang-ui Munje-ah," which translates roughly as "Troublemakers in the Rooftop Room."

In Tuesday's episode, co-hosts Kim Suk, Kim Jong-kook, Yang Se-chan, Song Eun-i and Joo Woo-jae opened the show without Hong.

Song Eun-i told viewers that Hong would be absent for several weeks due to a personal commitment arranged long in advance. Kim Jong-kook reacted with surprise, asking, "Several weeks?"

Joo Woo-jae predicted the recording sessions — and thus his working hours — would get shorter, saying there would be fewer personal questions to go around. Yang Se-chan quipped that he was perfectly fine with that, prompting Song Eun-i to tease him for smiling a little too broadly.

Hong is embarking on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage, which prompted her temporary absence from the show. She shared details of the journey on social media, writing: "To reach Santiago, I have to walk 250 kilometers over 11 days, and my backpack holds nothing but a passport, a wallet, a toothbrush, toothpaste, a phone, a camera and a charger. My shoulders feel so much lighter for it — and honestly, I don't feel too bad about that."
