Herald Business photographer Yun Chang-bin has won the Monthly Press Photo Award presented by the Korea Press Photographers Association. The association announced Tuesday that Yun's work had been selected for the excellence prize in the portrait category for the 284th edition of the award, part of the third-quarter cycle covering the 283rd through 285th editions. Yun captured American stand-up comedian Danny Cho — celebrated for his razor-sharp wit — in a portrait that judges recognized for its inventive approach. The Monthly Press Photo Award is selected across six categories, including news and story, from among photographs submitted by more than 500 member journalists at newspapers and wire services nationwide.
