South Korea's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Tuesday it had decided to withdraw some embassy staff from Ukraine, citing persistent airstrike threats across the country and Kyiv's failure to take constructive steps following Seoul's earlier recall of its ambassador.
Diplomatic communication between the two countries will continue through the chargé d'affaires, the ministry said, adding that all consular staff will remain in place to ensure the full protection of South Korean nationals in Ukraine.
