The 2026 Cheongdo Bansi Festival and Comedy Art Festival drew large crowds Saturday afternoon at the Cheongdo Outdoor Performance Hall in Cheongdo-gun, North Gyeongsang Province, on the events' second day. Visitors who turned out under clear autumn skies enjoyed a range of food and performances, including bansi — the persimmon variety that is Cheongdo's signature local product — along with other seasonal fare and entertainment. Cheongdo-gun Mayor Park Gwon-hyeon said the festival runs through Sunday and urged tourists and residents from across the country to visit and "leave behind a legend of a bountiful autumn day."
