Daiso, the fixed-price lifestyle goods retailer, announced Friday it is launching a renewed Daiso Samsung Card with enhanced online and offline benefits.
The updated card expands its discount coverage beyond physical stores to include the Daisomall online store. Customers can receive up to 40,000 won ($30) in discounts per month across both channels, depending on their previous month's spending. Existing cardholders can also take advantage of the newly added Daisomall discount.
At both Daiso stores and Daisomall, customers receive up to 4,000 won off per transaction when they spend at least 10,000 won. The discount applies up to five times a month at each channel, for a combined maximum of 10 times per month.
Customers who spent 300,000 won or more in the previous month can receive up to 30,000 won in discounts, while those who spent 600,000 won or more can receive up to 40,000 won. Purchases to which discounts are applied also count toward the previous month's spending total.
At Daiso stores, cardholders earn an additional 0.5 percent of their card spending as Daiso membership points. At Daisomall, a 1 percent discount applies to all purchases regardless of spending amount or discount limit.
The card also offers discounts at a range of other merchants, including coffee shops, online food delivery services, discount stores, online shopping platforms, convenience stores and medical providers.
"We added Daisomall discounts to the existing Daiso Samsung Card so that customers can enjoy broader benefits both online and offline," a Daiso official said.
