The Beauty Stylist Department at Suseong University held its "2026 Graduation Beauty Show" on Tuesday on a special stage at the MBLC multipurpose hall in the Gangsan Building.

The show was organized as part of a performance-sharing event under Daegu's Regional Growth Talent Development System (Anchor) project.

About 300 people attended, including university President Kim Seon-sun, executives from partner companies, parents and current students enrolled in the department's Trend Beauty program.

The event opened with a haegeum performance and a traditional Korean dance. Fifty graduating students then took the stage across four themed segments, each showcasing original artware designs alongside hair and makeup work they had created themselves.

Kim Hyo-jeong, head of the Beauty Stylist Department, said the students had demonstrated a level of creative direction that surpassed professional standards. "We will continue to strengthen our curriculum so that our students can grow into capable professionals who lead K-beauty," she added.

In her congratulatory remarks, President Kim said this is an era in which those armed with expertise and a willingness to embrace failure will succeed. "I ask for your continued support so that our students can take bold steps forward," she said.
