Broadcaster Jo Hye-ryeon has shared the secrets behind her weight loss.
Fellow broadcaster Park Mi-seon appeared on Jo's YouTube channel "Johyeryeon: Jo Hye-ryeon" on Wednesday, where the two talked about a range of topics.
In the video, Park commented on Jo's noticeably changed appearance and asked, "How many kilograms did you lose?"
Jo confidently replied, "I'm 53 kilograms now." When Park brought up weight-loss injections and asked whether she had taken Mounjaro or Wegovy, Jo waved her hand dismissively and said she had taken "Taeunjaro" — a word she coined by combining "taebo," a cardio workout, with "Mounjaro" — drawing laughter.
Jo also shared how she maintains her weight. "I don't eat after 7 p.m. I don't even drink water. And in the morning when I wake up, I mix hot water and cold water to make lukewarm water and drink that," she said, and went on to say that she eats an apple, raw grain powder and boiled eggs for breakfast.
Park agreed, saying, "There's a saying that it works much better if you pour the hot water in first and then add the cold water."
Meanwhile, Jo began her weight-loss journey in August last year and shed about 9 kilograms. She recently drew surprise when she revealed her waist had slimmed down to 24 inches.
