Titan Collection rice cookers deployed at North Gyeongsang rally point

Local banchan rounds out meal for trekkers

Cuchen announced Thursday that it took part in the Kolon Trail Camp — East-West Trail event on Saturday, serving freshly cooked rice to trekking participants in Bonghwa-gun, North Gyeongsang Province.

Organized by Kolon Sports, the event is a self-directed trekking program using the East-West Trail, a roughly 849-kilometer route stretching from Taean in South Chungcheong Province to Uljin in North Gyeongsang Province. Participants chose their own starting points, courses and schedules before gathering at an apple orchard in Bonghwa-gun.

At the rally point, Cuchen cooked rice using its premium Titan Collection rice cooker and served it alongside banchan prepared by local residents. The Titan Collection features an inner pot made from high-purity titanium and is equipped with a range of pressure-cooking functions.

The company also set up an experience zone featuring its food waste disposer Zero Fit, where participants could process their own food scraps after eating. A separate brand showcase displayed products suited for outdoor use, including a mini rice cooker.

"We plan to continue expanding consumer touchpoints across a variety of settings, including camping and outdoor activities," a Cuchen official said.
