Actor Lee Gyu-han's past remarks about his ideal type are drawing fresh attention amid news that he and singer Solbi plan to marry in April next year.

Solbi's agency confirmed Thursday that the couple will hold a wedding ceremony in April 2027.

The two grew close after appearing together on the KBS Joy variety program "Omanchoo 3" (Orae-doen Mannam Chugu Season 3, a dating variety show) last year, eventually becoming a couple and deciding to wed.

The wedding announcement, which came without any prior dating rumors, has drawn wide attention — and with it, renewed interest in comments Lee made about his ideal type just five months ago.

On SBS's My Little Old Boy in May, Lee described his ideal type in detail: a woman with a small, round face, slightly chubby cheeks, good skin, short hair, even teeth, a dimple on just one side, and eyebrows that are not too thick.

After seeing an AI-generated image based on his description, Lee said, "That's really my ideal type," adding that he likes short hair and an announcer-style look.

The episode had already circulated widely as a memorable ideal-type segment, but Thursday's wedding news prompted many to note that the features Lee described closely resemble Solbi's appearance.

The ceremony will be held privately in April 2027, with only immediate family, close relatives and a small circle of friends in attendance.
