The BMW Korea Future Foundation announced Thursday that it will run "Safety Arcade," an interactive event under its 2026 road safety campaign "Safety Together," at the Han River bus pier in Yeouido Han River Park in Seoul from Friday through Sunday.

Safety Arcade is a citizen-participation offline event organized as part of the foundation's ongoing 2026 road safety campaign Safety Together. Built around a retro arcade concept, it offers a series of mission-based programs that let participants learn traffic rules and road safety practices in a fun and accessible way at spaces people move through in their daily lives.

On-site programs include a traffic safety OX quiz, where participants test their knowledge of correct traffic rules across various road scenarios; a stop-line challenge, where players use a curling stone to stop precisely before a marked line; and a roundabout escape challenge, in which a mini-game teaches the rules for navigating a roundabout.

The foundation will also run a special program tied to the Korea Transportation Safety Authority's "Zero Accidents Today" campaign, a pan-government initiative aimed at spreading a culture of road safety through everyday safety practices.

This year, the foundation plans to jointly operate a safety pledge activity and a "Safety Time Attack" program — named after the Korean pronunciation of "5·0·4" — to boost public attention and participation in road safety. In the Time Attack game, participants watch a moving timer and press a button at exactly 5.04 seconds, conveying the road safety message embedded in that number through an intuitive, game-based format.

Participants earn a stamp each time they complete a mission, and those who collect all four stamps will be entered into a draw for various prizes.

The BMW Korea Future Foundation has been running its 2026 road safety campaign Safety Together since March, with the goal of fostering a safer and more mature traffic culture.

Meanwhile, the foundation continues to pursue social contribution activities across a range of areas, including talent development — most recently hosting the "2026 Second-Half Young Innovator Dream Project," a program that identifies and nurtures university students' ideas for social impact.
