Five youth artist teams perform pop opera, jazz and modern rock at The Sphere lawn, Seokchon Lake West, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday
Seoul's Songpa-gu will host an autumn youth busking festival, "Fall in THE SPHERE," at the lawn of The Sphere at Seokchon Lake West on Saturday, starting at 4 p.m.
The Sphere is a spherical media art installation measuring 7 meters in diameter. The event was designed to let residents and visitors enjoy a blend of autumn music and media art while experiencing the installation's distinctive appeal.
Five youth artist teams based in Songpa — including those active at the Seokchon Lake Atelier — will take the stage across a range of genres including pop opera, jazz and modern rock. The participating acts are Benny & Todd, Siseon, Moon Mi-hyang Quartet and Anrak Band.
Anrak Band was selected for Songpa-gu's 2026 The Impact program, which supports emerging youth artists. The group features vocalists who have demonstrated their talent on the national stage, including winning the grand prize at TV Chosun's College Song Festival.
The event aims to give young artists a platform to connect with the public and pursue their craft, while offering residents and visitors an autumn memory drawn from the seasonal scenery of Seokchon Lake, live music and media art.
Songpa-gu District Mayor Seo Gang-seok said he hoped visitors would come to Seokchon Lake and "immerse yourself in the charm of The Sphere alongside a wonderful performance by young artists, in a season perfectly made for enjoying music."
