Gimcheon City in North Gyeongsang Province will host the "2026 Gimcheon Job-Matching Fair" on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the grand hall on the third floor of the Gimcheon Workers' Welfare Center, the city announced Thursday.

The event is co-organized by the North Gyeongsang Employers' Federation and the Gimcheon Employment Welfare Plus Center, and is designed to help local companies fill vacancies while expanding job opportunities for job seekers.

Related institutions, including local universities, are also set to participate to support connections between companies and job seekers.

Ten local companies will take part in the fair, conducting one-on-one on-site interviews with job seekers.

Applicants will be able to meet directly with corporate recruiters for interviews and consultations, check hiring information, and find positions suited to their skills and interests.

A range of supporting programs will also be available to help job seekers prepare. These include employment consulting, labor law counseling, AI-assisted resume writing, professional headshot photography and career tarot readings.
