Seocho-gu signed an MOU with Le Monde Co., a tenant of the Seocho AICT Excellence Enterprise Center, on Wednesday at the district mayor's office on the fifth floor of Seocho-gu District Office to promote the development of the food service and AI industries in the district.

The agreement was drawn up in response to the rapidly changing business environment facing local restaurant operators, with the aim of strengthening their management capabilities, boosting the competitiveness of the food service industry, and supporting the growth of the AI sector through collaboration with an AI company. Seocho-gu District Mayor Jeon Sung-su and Le Monde Co-CEOs Lee Hee-yong and Kim Bo-hyung attended the signing ceremony, exchanged the agreement and took commemorative photos.

Under the MOU, Le Monde will operate its proprietary AI programs and provide restaurant operators with high-quality AI-based services through ongoing service improvements. Seocho-gu will integrate Le Monde's AI programs into its food service support projects and provide administrative assistance needed to carry them out.

The two parties will give students enrolled in the 9th Seocho-gu Food Service Management Academy, which begins Tuesday, the opportunity to use the AI programs.

The AI-based programs available to restaurant operators include "Daenggeulmong," which uses AI to help operators respond efficiently to online food delivery reviews, and "Bizmong," which supports customized consulting and promotional content creation based on store analysis. After gathering feedback from participants during this pilot run, the district plans to launch the programs officially from 2027.

"I hope this agreement gives restaurant operators a chance to take their businesses to the next level by making use of AI programs linked to the Food Service Management Academy," District Mayor Jeon said. "We will continue to support restaurant operators so they can actively adapt to the rapidly changing market environment, and we will keep expanding collaboration with AI companies to build a foundation that strengthens the competitiveness of the AI industry."
