Lotte Department Store announced Wednesday it will launch a premium travel program called Avenuel Global Trip for its VIP customers.

Designed in partnership with travel agencies for customers holding Avenuel status, the program offers one-on-one concierge travel planning as a standard feature, along with round-trip butler service between the customer's home and the airport. Participants also receive exclusive gifts and credits of up to $1,000 to use during their trip.

The inaugural offerings center on cruise voyages aboard the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, where guests can enjoy premium dining, top-tier service and a range of leisure activities on board. Shore excursions at each port of call are also included to give travelers a taste of local culture.

A standout itinerary is an eight-night, 10-day voyage themed "Alaska's Great Wilderness," sailing round-trip from Vancouver, Canada. The journey takes in Alaska's glaciers in midsummer and is timed to coincide with salmon runs, offering opportunities to observe wildlife including bears and whales. Round-trip business-class airfare and accommodation at a Fairmont hotel are included.

A 10-night, 11-day Japan itinerary focuses on gastronomy. The cruise departs Tokyo and calls at Shimizu, Osaka, Hiroshima and Fukuoka before continuing to Busan and Jeju, covering Mount Fuji, Japan's leading culinary cities and South Korea's southern coast. Business-class flights and a luxury suite cabin are included.

A culture and arts package themed "Art and Romance of the Mediterranean" is also planned, taking travelers through small towns in Spain and southern France with visits to Antoni Gaudí's architectural landmarks.

Meanwhile, Lotte Department Store is accepting reservations for 2027 Avenuel Global Trip packages through the "Avenuel Only" tab in its app. Customers from Avenuel Orange through Black rating are eligible to apply. Purchases made through the program count toward Avenuel-designated sales at up to 100 percent of the purchase amount, within an annual cap of 100 million won ($74,900).

"This is a form of travel curation that selects and presents the most valuable experiences for Avenuel customers," said Park Sang-woo, head of Lotte Department Store's marketing division. "We will create differentiated customer experiences across diverse areas of life — travel, culture and gastronomy — that go beyond shopping."
