Daegu Cyber University signed a memorandum of understanding with the North Gyeongsang Province Welfare Center for the Visually Impaired on Thursday at the university's C.I.R. to strengthen mutual exchange and cooperation.

The agreement aims to build a cooperative framework drawing on both institutions' expertise and resources in education and welfare, with the goal of expanding lifelong learning opportunities for people with disabilities.

Key areas of cooperation include developing education and training programs, jointly hosting academic seminars and research projects, providing industry-academia scholarship support for the welfare center's staff and their families, promoting Daegu Cyber University's online lifelong learning platform for people with disabilities, and supporting public outreach activities for both institutions.

"We hope this agreement will serve as an opportunity to expand lifelong learning opportunities for people with disabilities and strengthen cooperation in education and welfare, drawing on the expertise of both institutions," said Lee Geun-yong, president of Daegu Cyber University.
