Upgraded new 7X also makes European debut
Zeekr's European deliveries up 200% this year over last
Dealer network to expand to 200 outlets by end of 2026
Zeekr unveiled its flagship SUV, the Zeekr 9X, at the 91st Paris Motor Show at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, which runs through Sunday, and announced its strategy and plans for the European market, the company said Tuesday.
Zeekr is posting rapid growth in Europe, with deliveries this year up 200 percent from a year earlier. The brand is now present in 22 European markets and plans to expand its dealer network to 200 outlets by the end of 2026, covering 95 percent of the continent.
France, the host country of the motor show, saw new battery electric vehicle registrations rise 74 percent in the first eight months of this year, with emerging brands such as Zeekr leading the charge. Zeekr officially entered the French market in April and intends to make it a key pillar of its continued European success.
The 9X anchors the main stage of Zeekr's booth at the 2026 Paris Motor Show and drew 200 pre-orders before its official pricing was announced in September. The vehicle starts at 119,500 euros ($133,000) in Europe, with first customer deliveries scheduled to begin in January 2027.
The Zeekr 9X is built on a 900-volt architecture and produces up to 897 horsepower under European standards, accelerating from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.1 seconds and reaching a top speed of 240 kph. It also offers a class-leading pure electric range of up to 179 kilometers and a combined-mode range of 737 kilometers.
The event also saw the debut of the All New Zeekr 7X, the latest version of Zeekr's best-selling model in Europe. Outside of China's domestic market, the new 7X was first unveiled and put on sale in South Korea before making its European debut at the Paris Motor Show, where it will also go on sale.
The centerpiece of the new 7X is an updated driver-assistance system comprising seven cameras and three radars, with newly added remote parking assist and adaptive cruise control. The model surpassed a cumulative production milestone of 200,000 units last month, roughly two years after it went on sale in the second half of 2024. In South Korea, pre-orders have exceeded 1,500 units, with customer deliveries set to begin on a rolling basis next month.
"This year's Paris Motor Show debut is one of the defining moments of Zeekr's expansion in Europe," Zeekr Europe CEO Lothar Schupeta said. "The launch of the 9X and the new 7X will mark the next chapter for Zeekr in Europe, bringing a new dimension of luxury to customers across the continent."
