Target marks 33% increase from a year earlier, reflecting growth in both online and offline channels
Hyungji I&C has set a fourth-quarter sales target of 21 billion won ($15.7 million), positioning the period as a turning point for its earnings recovery.
The target represents a roughly 33 percent increase from the same period a year earlier, the company said Monday, reflecting a recent rebound in offline sales and continued growth in its online business. The company plans to focus on improving fourth-quarter earnings through sales of key fall-winter season products and brand-specific product strategies.
Yezac, its men's total innerwear brand, is expanding its lineup beyond shirts to include knitwear, sweaters and cardigans, aiming to raise the average transaction value and encourage related purchases. BON, the French traditional menswear brand, is pursuing a two-track strategy that combines upgrading its suit offerings with expanding its casual line. This season, a blouson collection and outerwear range featuring leather, suede and corduroy have been driving sales.
Carries Note, a contemporary womenswear brand, has seen some products from its fall-winter "Young and Luxury" collection sell out early.
On the online side, the company plans to strengthen the operational competitiveness of its own shopping mall and major online platforms through its VC unit. It has also enhanced product curation and targeted marketing tailored to the customer profile of each channel, and intends to improve supply and inventory efficiency by leveraging sales data from both online and offline channels.
"In the fourth quarter, we will do our utmost to achieve our sales target on the strength of differentiated product competitiveness and enhanced online and offline sales capabilities, while also improving sales efficiency and profitability to translate our efforts into tangible business results," a company official said.
