Firm on one side, plush on the other
Hyundai Livart has launched the 210 Reversible Mattress, a new product that offers a different cushioning feel on each side.
The two sides are designed with different firmness levels, so simply flipping the mattress delivers the feel of a brand-new bed, the company said. The top side features a 20-millimeter high-density foam layer that provides firm, stable support — suitable for adults as well as infants and toddlers who spend long hours lying down. A firm surface is considered safer for young children, who tend to move around frequently during sleep, than an overly soft one. The mattress also comes with a waterproof pad that attaches and detaches via zipper, making it hygienic for children still in potty training.
The bottom side uses a 20-millimeter layer of "Dream Foam" that gently conforms to the body's curves, offering a softer, more comfortable medium-hard feel. Livart said this side is well suited for teenagers and adults who need deep, restful sleep. The product comes in three sizes: Super Single, Queen and Large King.
"The mattress and pad are made entirely with high-density microfiber fabric that blocks house dust mites," a company official said. "The product has received infant textile safety certification from the Korea Conformity Laboratories for children under three years of age."
