A sighting of Hollywood star Tom Cruise strolling along the Han River during his recent visit to Seoul has been drawing attention online.

A post titled "Tom Cruise casually walking through Han River Park" circulated on an online community forum Sunday.

In the footage, Cruise walks side by side with a woman in a black suit, the two engaged in conversation. The sight of the actor spending a relaxed evening along the Han River — far from any film set or official event — caught the public's eye.

The video is believed to have been filmed on Oct. 2, when Cruise was in Korea to promote the film "Digger."

According to the eyewitness account, Cruise walked for about an hour between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. that day, passing Mapo Bridge and Seogang Bridge before reaching the National Assembly riverside park near Yeouido's Yunjung-ro. He was then seen leaving by car. A bodyguard was also spotted following at a distance.

The witness described the woman who accompanied Cruise as a staff member from the production company behind "Digger," adding, "It was not a date."

Cruise arrived in Korea on Oct. 1 to promote his new film "Digger."
