Tribute messages honoring late action actor Kim Hyeon-i have appeared in the closing credits of two new dramas — "Doctor X: The Age of the White Mafia," starring Kim Ji-won, and "100 Days of Deception," starring Kim Yu-jeong — drawing wide attention online.

The SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Doctor X: The Age of the White Mafia" premiered Friday and closed its first episode with the message: "We pay tribute to our precious colleague, the late Kim Hyeon-i, who ran alongside us."

The tvN Saturday-Sunday drama "100 Days of Deception" followed on Saturday, ending its premiere episode with the message: "We will not forget action actor Kim Hyeon-i. We will remember."

The appearance of tribute messages for the same person across two separate productions sparked broad interest in the late actor across online communities.

Kim Hyeon-i was an action actor, and the production teams of both dramas used their respective premieres to honor their connection with the late actor. The "100 Days of Deception" team specifically identified Kim as an "action actor" in the tribute caption.

Kim contributed action work to numerous productions beyond the two dramas, including other drama series and films.
