As generative AI increasingly searches for and recommends products and brands on behalf of consumers, how should companies rethink their brand strategies? A seminar bringing together practitioners to discuss actionable approaches — from AI search-oriented communication to design, consumer research and fandom building — is set for Thursday.

Brand consulting firm Metabranding announced Monday it will hold the 761st edition of its "Wednesday Study" open seminar Thursday at Spigen Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, under the theme "Discussing Branding Practice in the AI Era."

The seminar was organized amid the rapid spread of AI-assisted content creation, with the aim of exploring how companies can integrate new technology into their operations while preserving a distinct brand identity. Six experts in brand strategy, communication, design, consumer research and fandom will take the stage as speakers.

Park Hang-ki, chief executive of Metabranding, will deliver the keynote address and a session titled "Branding and Frameworks in the AI Era," covering how to build strategy around a brand's core philosophy and values. Kim Hyeong-nam, head of Metabranding's brand research institute, will present on the "Semantic Coordinates Methodology in the AI Era," outlining an approach to sharpening brand strategy.

The event runs from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will be available both in person and via YouTube livestream.
