Nexen Tire has opened a new logistics center in Perth, the largest hub city in Western Australia, strengthening its distribution infrastructure as it looks to deepen its foothold in the country's steadily growing market.

The company had previously built its Australian logistics network around the eastern cities of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. The Perth facility extends that supply chain to the west, completing what Nexen Tire describes as a nationwide distribution network.

The expansion is designed to give local distributors and consumers faster and more reliable product supply. By streamlining on-site inventory management, Nexen Tire aims to cut delivery lead times significantly and build the flexibility to respond quickly to shifts in market demand.

The company is also stepping up brand marketing to reach more local consumers. Nexen Tire plans to formally roll out a "shop branding" program in Australia, outfitting partner stores with signage, interiors and displays unified around the company's signature purple color scheme.

Sports marketing will remain part of the brand-building effort. Nexen Tire has been an official sponsor of A-League soccer club Sydney FC since the 2024/25 season and will continue that partnership into the 2026/27 season, which kicks off Oct. 16.

The Australian subsidiary's growth has been strong. Nexen Tire has treated Australia as a strategic market and consistently expanded its local operations; first-half sales this year rose more than 50 percent from the same period last year and were 2.6 times higher than in the first half of 2024.

"Opening this logistics center gives us the foundation to supply products reliably not just along the eastern seaboard but across the western region as well," a Nexen Tire official said. "We will continue to expand our presence in the Australian market by strengthening both our distribution network and brand marketing."

Meanwhile, Nexen Tire has also launched an updated after-sales service program called "N.Care Premium Warranty," adding two new products to its warranty coverage as part of broader efforts to improve customer convenience and service quality.

The program is a revamped version of the previous "Nfera Sin Premium Warranty" plan, expanding both the range of eligible products and consumer benefits. Under the scheme, if a tire is damaged within the one-year warranty period due to either user error or a manufacturing defect, the company will replace it once with an identical new tire.
