Heavyweight fighters Kim Nam-sin and Lee Ho-jun have traded barbs ahead of their TFC 24 clash, raising the temperature before fight night.

The two will meet in a heavyweight bout at TFC 24 "Break Through," set for Oct. 23 at Texpa Hall on the third floor of the Seoul Gangnam Textile Center.

Kim, a boxing-based fighter, recently defeated veteran Kim Dae-sung at a boxing showdown event. He aims to showcase his striking ability against Lee before setting his sights on the TFC heavyweight title.

"It looks like Lee Ho-jun trains hard, but that won't be enough against someone with talent like mine," Kim said. "I'll win this fight and then beat Lee Seung-jun to become TFC champion."

Standing across from him is Lee Ho-jun, a 15-year veteran of the sport. Lee has competed under Double G FC, Guam Brawl FC and Beast FC before joining TFC. At Beast FC he defeated Lee Jong-chan, and in TFC he fought to a draw with Sim Woo-ram before losing a decision to Woo Seong-jae.

A former soccer player, Lee said he turned to combat sports because he saw them as a discipline where "there's no sitting on the bench — everyone gets a fair shot." He added that he would enter the fight with a do-or-die mindset.

Tensions between the two spilled over during the official TFC 24 photo shoot, when Kim — known for his pre-fight antics — shoved Lee, prompting staff to step in and separate them. Lee fired back, vowing to "make him pay for this humiliation."

TFC co-representative Jeon Chan-yeol identified counters, stamina, fighting spirit and takedowns as the key variables in the matchup. TFC General Manager Hwang Seon-muk pointed to the fighters' aggressive, never-back-down styles and the prospect of a striking war as the main things to watch.
