Hyundai Engineering & Construction (Hyundai E&C) announced Tuesday that it has partnered with global luxury brand Spa L'Occitane to introduce high-end spa services at the community facilities of its Apgujeong Zone 2, 3 and 5 reconstruction complexes.

The partnership marks the first time a domestic construction company has incorporated a global luxury hotel spa brand into a residential complex community.

L'Occitane, a Provence-based maison that blends the region's natural vitality with scientific expertise to offer a distinctive lifestyle experience, operates spa services at luxury hotels and resorts around the world.

Spa L'Occitane has earned wide recognition for its aromatherapy treatments using naturally derived ingredients and its customized treatment programs, winning the World Spa Awards' title of world's best spa brand for two consecutive years in 2023 and 2024.

Hyundai E&C plans to apply Spa L'Occitane's brand philosophy and service standards to community facilities within the Apgujeong Zone 2, 3 and 5 reconstruction complexes, creating a distinctive wellness space. The facilities will offer customized treatment programs delivered by professional therapists, aroma bath and beauty care services using natural ingredients, and private lounge-style rest areas on par with luxury hotel standards.

Hyundai E&C also produced an exclusive welcome kit under the Spa L'Occitane brand for residents of its Dieh complexes. The kits were distributed to residents of the Dieh Bangbae complex, which opened in September.

"Residential spaces are no longer simply places to stay — they are evolving into platforms for realizing quality of life, rest, health and personal values," a Hyundai E&C official said. "We will continue to collaborate with world-class global brands to deliver differentiated residential experiences."

Meanwhile, Hyundai E&C surpassed 10 trillion won ($7.36 billion) in urban redevelopment project orders this year as of mid-September.
