Everland, the resort arm of Samsung C&T, is launching a kids' costume fashion week that lets children transform into their favorite characters — from princesses and princes to superheroes.

Everland announced Tuesday that the event runs through the end of this month for children under 12. Young visitors who arrive in a full-body costume — top and bottom — can purchase an all-day admission ticket for 15,000 won ($11).

Ticket holders can spin a guaranteed-win roulette wheel to earn "Som Points," redeemable like cash inside the park, or a photo session with a witch character performer.

Children who ride designated attractions, including Thunderfalls and Royal Jubilee Carousel, will also receive limited-edition costume stickers featuring the Lenny & Friends characters.

A social media photo contest runs through Sunday. Parents can enter by posting a photo of their costumed child taken at Everland on Instagram with the required hashtags. Top entries will receive prizes including a Safari Special Tour pass, an Everland gift card, and a twin panda Rui Bao and Hui Bao costume doll set.

Everland has run a series of dress-up promotions this year under its "Whateverland" series, inviting visitors to come in school uniforms, soccer jerseys, rural-vacation looks and Hawaiian shirts. About 15,000 visitors have taken part in costume events this year.

For the autumn season, the park is also running family-oriented programming including a flower garden, performances by the "Ppuppa Band," and the "Smiley Pumpkin Parade." A motorsports program called "Final Lap" — featuring racing simulators and costume experiences in the Global Fair area — runs through Oct. 31, expanding the park's lineup of hands-on autumn activities.

"We designed this event to give children a special day where they can put on their dream outfit, let their imagination run wild and be the star of the story," an Everland official said. "We hope the costumes our guests bring and the autumn festival atmosphere will come together to create a magical experience that feels like stepping into a fairy tale."
