An unusual themed space combining the attractions of a landmark observatory with the intellectual property of global esports organization T1 has opened in Jamsil.
Seoul Sky, the observation deck atop Lotte World Tower and the highest of its kind in South Korea, has been transformed into an esports experience zone stretching from the second below-ground floor to the 121st floor. Visitors can explore the space by ascending through the observation levels, experiencing T1's story and completing missions along the way.
Lotte World Tower Seoul Sky has partnered with global esports company T1 Entertainment & Sports to operate the immersive themed space "T1 IN THE SKY" through Nov. 29. Visitors can view exhibitions tracing T1's history as they move between floors, and browse limited-edition products and exclusive food and beverage menus developed for the event.
A stamp tour called "Arty's Flame of Victory" ties the entire observatory into a single route. Built around the concept of T1's mascot Arty climbing toward the summit, participants collect stamps by completing missions at designated checkpoints. Stamp booklets can be purchased from a vending machine on the second below-ground floor.
Missions unfold floor by floor. Starting at the "T1 Fan Booster" station on the second below-ground floor, where visitors press a cheer button, participants head up to the 120th floor to try League of Legends: Wild Rift. On the 121st floor, a "My T1 AR Room" experience lets visitors find their matched player based on play style and insert an on-site photo into a character frame through a terminal, alongside a "Throne at the Summit" corner. Visitors who complete all missions receive a randomly selected limited-edition exhibition poster at the Seoul Sky Shop on the first below-ground floor.
Exclusive merchandise and themed menu items are also on sale at the venue. The Seoul Sky Shop on the 121st floor carries mouse desk pads, cable holders and acrylic stands, while the food and beverage store on the observation floor sells drink sets with dedicated cup holders and tumblers, as well as a mochi package. At the photo booth on the 120th floor, visitors who spend 20,000 won ($15) or more receive a character screen cleaner on a first-come, first-served basis.
