Lotte Home Shopping will hold its large-scale "Gwangkleol" shopping festival for 11 days from Thursday through Oct. 18.

Now in its seventh year, the festival runs under the concept of "big benefits, big fun, big satisfaction." Perks during the event include daily midnight coupon packs under the "Gwangkleol Credit" program, a "Gwangkleol Gift" option letting customers choose between reward points and free gifts, and a 7 percent card discount on TV home shopping purchases.

On the TV home shopping channel, flagship programs — including Choi Yu-ra Show, Yojeom Shopping Yurine and L.SHOW — will air for extended hours. The broadcaster has also lined up focused programming such as an LBL 10th anniversary special, a three major luxury brands special, a Cellolabs Gwangkleol Day and the Yeo Esther National Health Show. Popular fashion and living brands including The North Face, Burberry and Roborock will be featured with exclusive product bundles and enhanced discounts. The online mall has also prepared special sales events, including a "Bigger Gwang Sale" and a "Brand All-Star" showcase.

A mobile pre-event runs Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of the main festival. Customers who purchase a product and leave a review about the concert can enter a draw to win concert invitations. During the main event, entry tickets will be awarded based on event page visits and shares as well as purchase amounts. Linked to customer entries, Lotte Home Shopping will donate up to 50 million won ($36,800) to the Salvation Army Korea Command.

The Gwangkleol Concert will be held Nov. 14–15 at Kintex in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. This year's lineup diversifies across ballad, dance and trot genres. The invited audience has been doubled to 13,000 customers over the two days. The first night, themed "Gat-i-Kim-Baek," will feature god, Lee Jae-hoon, Kim Jong-kook and Baek Ji-young, while the second night, themed "Top-Tier Trot," will feature Song Ga-in, Kim Hee-jae, Park Seo-jin, Seong-ri and Hong Ji-yun.

Alongside the concert, a "Gwangkleol Market" will run Nov. 13–15 in the lobby of the Kintex performance venue, featuring sales booths for popular beauty and health food brands as well as interactive programs for customers.

Kang Jae-jun, head of Lotte Home Shopping's sales division, said this year's Gwangkleol festival was designed for customers across generations to enjoy together, combining differentiated products and generous shopping benefits with a two-day concert and offline programming. "We will provide customers with a new shopping experience and develop this into an event where shopping, culture and giving come together," he said.
