North Gyeongsang Province will hold a 10th anniversary ceremony and concert at the Saemaul Square of its provincial government complex new town on Wednesday, the province announced Tuesday.

The ceremony will feature video and laser performances tracing the new town's past, present and future.

Singers Ailee, Min Kyung-hoon and Gyeongseo Yeji will then perform at the concert.

The province has set the event's slogan as "A Century of Waves Flowing with the Pulse of Mutual Growth," reflecting its aim not only to look back on the new town's first decade but to chart a new direction for the next 100 years together with residents.

"This is a meaningful occasion to reflect on the past 10 years of the provincial government new town and think about the road ahead with our residents," North Gyeongsang Province Vice Governor for Administrative Affairs Hwang Myeong-seok said. "I hope the ceremony and concert will serve as an opportunity for residents of the province and the new town to come together and prepare for the next 100 years."
