GS Engineering & Construction announced Tuesday that its Dalseo Xi Zenique development in Bonri-dong, Dalseo-gu, Daegu, will launch pre-sales of residential officetel units following the earlier release of its apartment units.
The project has drawn strong interest since apartment pre-sales began on a first-come, first-served basis, with a steady stream of prospective buyers visiting the model home. Contracts have moved quickly, with about 70 percent of the total apartment supply already sold.
The residential officetel units now going on sale comprise 78 units, each with an exclusive use area of 84 square meters.
While the apartment units are aimed primarily at families of three to five with children, the residential officetels are expected to appeal to newlyweds and two- to three-person households, addressing a distinct segment of residential demand that the apartments do not cover.
The officetel units feature a living room open on two sides to maximize natural light and a sense of openness, with the design minimizing obstructions to the front view to secure unimpeded sightlines.
Dalseo Xi Zenique will rise to a maximum of 49 above-ground floors across three towers, with five below-ground levels. The complex will include 360 apartment units across two towers — in two floor-plan types, both with an exclusive use area of 84 square meters — along with the 78 officetel units.
The development sits near the Bonri intersection, giving residents convenient access to established neighborhood amenities.
In addition to the shops and services around the Bonri intersection, residents will be close to the Jukjeon intersection area. The site is also adjacent to Deokin Elementary School, the first International Baccalaureate World School in Dalseo-gu, offering the IB Primary Years Programme.
Major roads including Dalgubeollo and Waryongno, as well as the Nam Daegu interchange, provide easy access to destinations across Daegu and beyond. The complex also offers good connectivity to key industrial zones, including Seongseo Industrial Complex and Seo Daegu Industrial Complex.
"Interest in Dalseo Xi Zenique was clearly on display during the apartment pre-sale process, when buyers lined up on-site to secure contracts," a real estate industry official said. "With a new option now available in the form of 84-square-meter residential officetel units, it will be worth watching whether that same level of enthusiasm carries over."
Dalseo Xi Zenique is being offered as a post-construction pre-sale development, with move-in scheduled for February 2027. A model home is open in the Duryu-dong area of Dalseo-gu, Daegu.
