Seocho-gu will operate a dedicated pavilion themed around "Seocho AICT" at Smart Life Week 2026, held at COEX from Tuesday through Thursday, featuring its AICT industrial ecosystem and four AI-powered public services closely tied to residents' daily lives.
"We hope this becomes an opportunity to introduce Seocho's AI administration and AICT innovation technology to audiences at home and abroad," said Seocho-gu District Mayor Jeon Seong-su.
Jeon made the remarks ahead of Smart Life Week 2026, a smart-city international event running Tuesday through Thursday at COEX Halls A and B, where Seocho-gu will operate a dedicated "Seocho Pavilion" showcasing the district's AICT industrial foundation, AI administrative services, and the technologies of locally based innovative companies.
Smart Life Week 2026 is co-hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the World Smart City Organization (WeGO) and organized by the Seoul AI Foundation. The event draws approximately 500 cities, institutions and companies from around the world. Under the theme "Everyday Life in the AI-Powered City of the Future," it features exhibitions of AI innovations transforming urban life, alongside international forums, conferences and business consultations to share the latest trends and future visions for smart cities.
Seocho-gu has steadily built up its AI and ICT industrial base — first through the designation of the Yangjae AI Future Convergence Innovation Special Zone in November 2024, and then through the designation of the Yangjae ICT Specific Development Promotion District in February. Building on that foundation, the district is organizing the Seocho Pavilion around the "Seocho AICT" theme to spotlight the policies it has pursued and the innovative technologies developed by local companies.
The Seocho Pavilion will operate eight booths in total — one policy booth and seven company booths. The policy booth will introduce the AICT industrial ecosystem Seocho-gu is building, centered on the Yangjae AI Future Convergence Innovation Special Zone and the Yangjae ICT Specific Development Promotion District.
Alongside this, under the theme "A Safer and More Convenient Seocho Through AI," the pavilion will present four AI administrative services closely tied to residents' daily lives: Seocho AI-jent, an AI flood-measurement and alert system, an Edge AI CCTV selective monitoring system, and Seocho AI Smoking Zero.
The company booths will feature seven AICT innovators based in Seocho-gu, giving visitors a chance to experience their flagship technologies and services firsthand. The lineup includes Wonderful Platform's AI-powered care robot Dasom Robot, BioConnect's AI-based contactless health-measurement kiosk Vital Tracker, Dost11's AI video archiving search and preview platform VideoScuba, Triplet's AI spatial analysis solution Triplet Lime, Parkingo's AI-driven optimal parking guidance service Agentic Parking AI, 4D IB Vision's robot-based automation solution TesseraView, and HelpTeacher's AI mental health counseling booth MindRoom.
Through the exhibition, Seocho-gu plans to support participating companies not only in promoting their technologies but also in creating tangible business opportunities — including opening domestic and overseas markets, attracting investment, and forging business partnerships. The district will connect companies to a range of programs, particularly the PYC solution-proposal and exchange program with officials from overseas cities, and investor relations sessions for business matching with global investors and buyers, to help expand their market reach and uncover investment and cooperation opportunities.
"We hope Smart Life Week serves as a wide-reaching platform to introduce Seocho-gu's AI administrative services and the outstanding technologies of our local AICT innovators to audiences at home and abroad," Jeon said. "Going forward, we will continue to build an environment where local AICT companies can grow and innovate, while using AI technology to make residents' everyday lives safer and more convenient — realizing our vision of Seocho as a smart city."
