Singer Young Tak said he gave a lavish gift to 100 members of his staff.
Young Tak appeared as a special MC on the KBS2 variety program "Sajangnim Gwineun Dangnaegwi," which aired Sunday.
During the episode, Young Tak mentioned that he had released his third full-length album and was in the middle of a Seoul concert run. Co-host Kim Suk said he was well known for his generosity with gifts, bringing up how he had given gold to every staff member after his 2022 nationwide concert tour.
"There were about 100 staff members who worked hard through the nationwide tour," Young Tak said, confirming he had given each of them gold. Fellow hosts Jeon Hyun-moo and Kim Suk reacted with amazement, saying, "You gave gold to 100 people?" and "That's 100 million won ($72,000) just for one don each."
When Eom Ji-in asked, "Can I work as a staff member at your Seoul concert this time?" Young Tak drew laughs by firmly replying, "There's no gold gift at this concert."
Meanwhile, Young Tak recently made a comeback with his full-length album "GOGO" and has been actively promoting its title track "Kkeokkeo."
