South Korea has claimed a fourth consecutive gold medal in men's football at the Asian Games.

The under-23 national team, coached by Lee Min-sung, defeated Japan 1-0 in the final of the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games at Toyota Stadium in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, on Saturday, with Eom Ji-sung (Swansea City) scoring the decisive goal in the 61st minute of the second half.

The victory extended South Korea's dominance in the event to four straight titles, following gold medals at the 2014 Incheon, 2018 Jakarta-Palembang and 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games.
