The Korea Food Industries Association will operate a "K-Food Leading Companies Pavilion" alongside some of South Korea's top food companies at SIAL Paris 2026, a major international food trade show running Oct. 17-21 in Paris, France.

The pavilion is larger than its 2024 edition. Eleven companies will take part — Nongshim, Daedu Foods, Lotte Wellfood, Binggrae, Samlip, Samyang Foods, Sempio Foods, Ourhome, Youngpoong, Origin Gourmet and Harim — filling 87 booths across 778.5 square meters.

Each company will have its own large independent booth, while a shared design motif drawn from the taeguk symbol and the common slogan "THE TASTE YOU LOVE" will give the pavilion a unified K-food identity.

The pavilion will feature a wide range of K-food products — from Korean staples such as ramyun, bakery items and fermented sauces to innovative products reflecting global consumer trends.

Nongshim will spotlight its Shin Ramyun brand and plans to unveil its new Shin Ramyun Rosé to the European market for the first time. Samyang Foods will set up an experiential space promoting its Buldak and Tangl brands. SPC Samlip will present Korean-style bakery products including hotteok, hobang and yakgwa. Sempio Foods will introduce Korean flavors through its gochujang, soy sauce and Yondu lineup.

Lotte Wellfood will showcase confectionery, frozen desserts and convenience foods including Pepero and Jaws Bar, while Binggrae will present products popular in global markets — Melona, Bungeo Ssamanco and Banana Flavored Milk. Ourhome will display more than 150 products across its three strategic categories: on-the-go meals, kimchi and sauces.

The event will also highlight K-food innovation. Seventeen products from six pavilion participants were selected for the SIAL Innovation Award, which recognizes outstanding innovation and creativity. Ourhome earned six selections, including its Magic Soba. Nongshim's Lifill Derma Collagen and Lotte Wellfood's I'm Control Banana Gum were also among the honorees. Samlip's Yakbap Burrito was additionally chosen for SIAL Taste, a program that lets visitors sample and experience award-winning products.

Korea Food Industries Association President Park Jin-sun said the association would actively support Korean companies in turning their diverse products and innovative capabilities into new business opportunities in the global market, "now that K-food is drawing worldwide attention."
