Comedian Park Mi-sun has shared her latest obsession: BTS.
Park appeared on MBC's "Radio Star" on Wednesday alongside Kim Jeong-nan, Kim Sae-rom and Kim Su-mi, where the guests traded lively banter.
Park revealed she is planning to spend the end of the year abroad. "I'm going to Bangkok," she said, adding that she and Kim Jeong-nan are both members of Army, BTS's fan club. "A late-blooming passion is a fearsome thing," she said, noting that the two plan to attend a BTS concert in Bangkok together.
She quickly followed up with a clarification that drew laughs from the studio. "Not the army — BTS's Army. Please put 'BTS' in front of it," she said.
Park also explained how she became a BTS fan later in life. It was her close friend Kim Jeong-nan who persuaded her to attend a BTS concert, and she said she was hooked from that point on.
"I posted on social media that I had gone to a BTS concert — something like, 'I think I might be Army' — and V liked it," Park said, recalling her excitement at the time. Kim Jeong-nan, hearing the story, reacted with envy: "You're a true fan who got noticed!"
