Special sale runs through Oct. 31
Portable speakers, headphones and earphones offered at discounts
Anniversary exhibition also held at 'Project Space Line'
Samsung Electronics announced Thursday that it will hold a "JBL 80th Anniversary Special Sale" across online and offline retail channels through Oct. 31 to mark the 80th anniversary of JBL, an audio brand under Harman.
The sale was organized to celebrate eight decades of JBL's sound innovation and give consumers a chance to experience a wide range of JBL audio products with special benefits. JBL is a global audio company founded in 1946.
During the promotion period, Samsung Electronics will offer JBL portable speakers, headphones and earphones at special discounted prices.
The JBL GRIP, a pro-sound ultra-lightweight portable Bluetooth speaker, will be available at up to 48 percent off. The flagship headphone JBL TOUR ONE M3, the smart home speaker JBL AUTHENTICS 300 and the flagship earphone JBL TOUR PRO 3 will also be discounted by up to 38 percent.
A gift promotion has also been prepared for customers. Those who purchase the next-generation AI-equipped microphones JBL EasySing Mic Mini or EasySing Mic Duo will receive a JBL GO 5 speaker.
The special sale will run on major online platforms including Samsung.com and Naver, as well as at offline Samsung Store locations.
From Oct. 24 through Oct. 31, Samsung Electronics will hold an anniversary exhibition at Project Space Line in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, commemorating JBL's 80th anniversary and the 60th anniversary of Bowers & Wilkins, which Samsung acquired last year.
The exhibition will introduce key products and brand history showcasing JBL's innovations from the 1940s to the present, with displays and demonstrations spanning JBL's signature and latest products.
Alongside this, a special exhibition for British premium brand Bowers & Wilkins — marking its 60th anniversary this year — will trace the brand's history, sound technology and design evolution through landmark products from each era. The full lineup of the recently unveiled flagship speaker series, the 800 Series Diamond D5, will also be on display.
