Carrier earns high marks for booking convenience, check-in process and in-flight service
Jeju Air has ranked first in the domestic airline category of a customer satisfaction survey conducted by Korea Management Association Consulting.
The airline announced Wednesday that it received a composite score of 84 points in the 2026 Korean Customer Satisfaction Index, the highest in the domestic aviation category.
The assessment was based on three core indicators: component satisfaction, overall satisfaction and intent to reuse.
In the component satisfaction evaluation — which covers 13 items — the airline drew strong marks particularly for booking and ticketing convenience, check-in procedures, in-flight service and member benefits.
The Korean Customer Satisfaction Index measures consumer satisfaction with products and services across domestic industries based on responses from actual users. The survey targets consumers between the ages of 18 and 64 who have used the company within the past year.
This year also brought a change to how the aviation sector is assessed. Previously, low-cost carriers and full-service carriers were evaluated separately, but the survey framework was restructured this year to divide the sector into domestic and international aviation categories.
Jeju Air has also maintained a string of consumer-related certifications. Since 2024, it has operated as a Consumer-Centered Management certified company under the Korea Fair Trade Commission, and that same year became the first domestic airline to receive a commendation from the fair trade chairman in the consumer-centered management category.
In June, the airline won the top prize in the low-cost carrier category at the 2026 Korea Service Grand Prix, which evaluates digital services, airport convenience and in-flight amenities.
