Contribution channeled through Community Chest of Korea

APR announced Wednesday that it has donated goods worth 2.4 billion won ($1.77 million) to vulnerable groups at home and abroad — including single-parent and unwed-mother households — through the Community Chest of Korea.

The donation was aimed at improving living conditions and providing practical welfare support for those in need. The goods were distributed to women's social welfare facilities and community welfare centers in South Korea, as well as to organizations in Mongolia and Malawi. Domestically, single-parent and unwed-mother households were given priority. The donated items included the company's own clothing products for everyday use.

Founded in 2014, APR has carried out corporate social responsibility initiatives since 2016, focusing on marginalized communities and disaster relief. The company has steadily expanded its efforts to include support for the self-reliance of single-parent families, medical expense assistance for children from low-income households, and donations for disaster recovery. Including this latest contribution, APR's cumulative giving has surpassed 13 billion won.

"We will continue to fulfill our corporate social responsibilities through a wide range of initiatives and sustain a culture of sharing with those who need help," an APR official said.
