8 affiliates to offer signature products and services
Woori Financial Group will hold a customer appreciation event bringing together financial products and services from eight of its affiliates, offering perks ranging from a savings account with an annual rate of up to 9 percent to stock account benefits and mini insurance plans — along with prizes including a Tesla vehicle and tickets to overseas soccer matches.
Woori Financial Group announced Wednesday that the "2026 Woori Financial Dahamkke Festa" — known by its shorthand "Udape" — will run on the Woori WON Banking app from Thursday through Oct. 31. The event, held for the second consecutive year, drew pre-registration sign-ups from about 500,000 people, more than double the figure from last year.
Eight affiliates are taking part this year — Woori Bank, Tongyang Life Insurance, ABL Life Insurance, Woori Card, Woori Financial Capital, Woori Investment Securities, Woori Financial Savings Bank and Woori Asset Management — offering a combined 16 flagship products and services. The event is designed to broaden the group's customer touchpoints by encouraging bank customers to use products from other affiliates such as insurance and securities.
During the event, customers who open a new "Woori Financial Dahamkke Savings 2" account at Woori Bank or a new stock account at Woori Investment Securities will receive a "FLEX prize draw ticket." Customers who sign up for products from two or more affiliates will also receive draw tickets. Prizes include a Tesla vehicle, a MacBook, iPhone and Apple Watch bundle, a Galaxy Z Fold, one don of gold, and 100,000 won in reward points. Customers who sign up for products or refer friends will receive a roulette draw ticket for a chance to win chicken or ice cream mobile coupons and reward points.
Woori Bank will launch "Woori Financial Dahamkke Savings 2," a 12-month flexible savings account offering an annual rate of up to 9 percent. The bank will also provide a 20,000 won financial coupon usable when opening a new housing subscription account or youth housing dream subscription account. Woori WON Mobile will run a sign-up event offering free access for up to one year to 15 budget mobile plans — including the "WON Celeb" plan — for customers who meet conditions such as salary transfers.
Woori Investment Securities will give customers who open a new stock account an ETF worth 30,000 won, and will draw 10 winners each week to receive one share of Samsung Electronics. The securities arm will also hold a lottery for a "La Liga VIP Away Tour" package, offering VIP seats to an Atletico Madrid match along with flights, accommodation and a high-five experience with the squad.
Tongyang Life Insurance and ABL Life Insurance will offer four types of mini insurance plans — covering influenza, injury and illness — that provide one year of coverage with a single premium payment. Premiums range from 3,000 won to 10,000 won on average. All customers who request a coverage analysis or consultation will receive a reward worth 5,000 won.
Woori Card will offer a 30,000 won billing discount to customers who have not used their card in the past six months and issue and use a new credit card, and a 5,000 won cashback to those who do the same with a debit card. The card unit has also prepared an event offering up to 10,000 won cashback at five major online shopping platforms, as well as a WON Travel discount coupon event.
Woori Financial Capital will offer prizes including an iPad, gift vouchers and charging credits to customers who take delivery of a leased or long-term rental vehicle. Woori Financial Savings Bank will launch the "TOK7 Savings" account, a seven-month product offering an annual rate of 7 percent with monthly deposits of up to 500,000 won.
Woori Asset Management will hold a prize draw for customers who purchase any of three WON ETF products or three fund products and enter the event, with prizes awarded by lottery based on the amount purchased.
"We have prepared this event so customers can experience a wide range of affiliate products in one place and enjoy the benefits," a Woori Financial Group official said. "We hope many customers will take interest and participate, as this year's lineup of products and gifts is even more generous than last year's."
