Rain will fall during the morning commute Tuesday, centered on the Gangwon Province coastal and mountain areas and the Gyeongsang region.
The Gangwon coastal and mountain areas will see rain from the early morning hours, while Busan, Ulsan and the North Gyeongsang Province eastern coast and northeastern mountains will receive rain from the morning before it clears for most areas in the afternoon.
Expected rainfall totals are 5–20 millimeters for the Gangwon coastal and mountain areas and around 5 millimeters for Busan, Ulsan and the North Gyeongsang eastern coast and northeastern mountains.
Some areas in the southeastern inland parts of North Gyeongsang Province and the eastern inland areas of South Gyeongsang Province may see scattered drops of less than 0.1 millimeters.
Elsewhere, skies will be mostly cloudy across the country, with the Gangwon coastal and mountain areas and the Gyeongsang region remaining largely overcast through the afternoon.
Morning lows Tuesday will range from 10 to 20 degrees Celsius, with afternoon highs reaching 23 to 28 degrees Celsius.
The temperature gap between day and night will be large at 10 to 15 degrees Celsius, particularly in inland areas nationwide, so residents are advised to take care of their health.
Wave heights are expected to reach 0.5–1.5 meters in the East Sea coastal waters and 0.5–1.0 meters in the West Sea and South Sea coastal waters.
In the open offshore waters — within roughly 200 kilometers of the coastline — wave heights are forecast at 0.5–1.5 meters across the East Sea, West Sea and South Sea.
