A story about a man spotted practicing golf swings directly in front of a grave during a family cemetery visit has gone viral, drawing widespread anger online.

On Saturday, a user posted a video and photos on the social media platform Threads, writing that an ajeossi had been hitting golf balls right in front of their grandmother's grave when they arrived to pay their respects.

The video shows a man taking full swings with a golf club and striking balls just steps from the grave. The accompanying photos show several golf balls scattered around the burial site, along with a collection of balls that appear to have been gathered from the surrounding area.

According to the poster, identified only as A, the man appeared to tend a field near the grave.

"My father was furious and even considered calling the police," A wrote, adding that they were shocked such an inconsiderate person existed.

Commenters reacted with outrage. "That can't be considered normal behavior," one wrote. Others asked whether the man would do the same in front of his own parents' graves, warned that hitting real balls could have damaged the burial site, and expressed disbelief that someone could show such poor manners at a sport where etiquette is considered fundamental.
