Jung Chang-gun, the eldest son of former broadcaster Noh Hyun-jung, has been confirmed as the largest shareholder of HNIX.

According to industry sources Monday, Jung — the son of Noh and Jung Dae-sun, former president of HN Inc — holds a 39.74 percent stake in HNIX.

HNIX is a comprehensive IT services company offering system development and operations, solution services, consulting and security services. Its clients include companies from the broader Hyundai family of conglomerates, including HD Hyundai, HL Group and HDC Group.

HNIX was established in 2022 when HN Inc spun off its IT services division. Last year, the company posted sales of 76.6 billion won ($56.7 million) and an operating profit of 3.7 billion won. However, as of the end of last year, the company was in a state of complete capital impairment, with liabilities reaching 64.5 billion won.

According to HNIX's 2025 audit report, other major shareholders include HNIX Chief Executive Cha Dong-won (18.50 percent), Asan Foundation Chairman Chung Mong-joon (11.75 percent), HL Holdings (10.39 percent), Hyundai Material (8.95 percent) and KCC Group Chairman Chung Mong-jin (5.17 percent).

Born in 2007, Jung Chang-gun is still a minor. The specific circumstances behind his acquisition of the stake and whether he will take part in management remain unknown.

Noh left broadcasting in 2006 when she married Jung Dae-sun, the third son of the late Chung Mong-woo, former chairman of Hyundai Aluminum. The couple has two sons — Jung Chang-gun and a younger son, Jung Chang-sung.
